The basis or the success of the BBC Worldwide method is the use of the innate
theory of language learning. All BBC Courses were designed on the Listen,
Understand, Speak, and Write method which makes learning a new language a real
pleasure. This is exactly the way we learned our native language when we were
little. Listen
Easily paced and manageably sized chunks are introduced in the audio tracks of
the recordings of BBC Worldwide cassettes and CD's. This would accustom your
ears to the new language and will eventually train you to think with this
language.
Understand
The accompanying books will facilitate the understanding of the meanings of
the words and phrases you are learning. The more you listen the more you will
understand the tones and meanings of your new language.
Speak
With the BBC Worldwide method you will start to speak the language from the
first lesson when you repeat after the cassette due to the slow pace in the
first lessons. This will enable you to imitate the sounds you heard with
confidence from the beginning. The step by step recurrent repetition will
develop your speech to become more and more similar to the native speakers you
hear on the accompanying recordings of the course. Your pronunciation will
become more natural as you Listen, Understand, Speak and Write. |
